Business Analyst Commercial
The Business Analyst is responsible for providing data that is relevant for analysis and investigation as well as for decision making process. To be able to achieve its purpose, Business Analyst will have to setup and supervise data collection process, design and/or understand data model build up and finally data visualization. During its job you would have to collaborate mainly with internal stakeholders such as Data Requestors, Data Providers and Infrastructure Providers (IT, 3rd party).
Your tasks
- Understand the business and its drivers as well as its processes with special focus on decisions
- Execute data mining exercise and identify relevant, yet sustainable data sources
- Design and/or build data model with all its processes in fit to purpose manner
- Build data visualization applications and make them accessible to its users
- Train the users in meaningful analytics relevant for their decision making or analysis
- Maintain data quality in applications
- Manage improvement projects with IT
Your profile
- Passion for data and facts
- Logical problem-solving thinking
- 3+ years’ experience in process management-oriented business analysis, preferably in commercial area
- 3+ years of experience in project management
- Strong command of data modelling in analytical platforms (SQL, Qlikview, Power BI, Tableau)
- University Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business Administration
- Language skills: fluency in English
