Cost Accountant
Location: Belgrade
The position holder supports the Cost Accounting Team Leader in creating transparency on product profitability via maintaining settlements, allocations, Internal Orders, Cost Center, and Profit Center structures in the system. Furthermore, you will be responsible to maintain an accurate set of reports in BW (Business Warehouse) as well as to ensure a timely reconciliation to SAP. You will further support the recurring budgeting & business planning cycle as well as other relevant financial processes & projects.
Your tasks
- Support the month-end-closing process
- Preparation of reports and other analyses
- Close collaboration with and support of other Finance teams such as Accounting, Controlling, Data & Analytics etc.
- System support and maintenance of settlements, allocations, Cost Center, and Profit Center structures
- Support the budgeting and business planning process by preparing and uploading templates in system
- Drive continuous improvements of analytics tools incl. data maintenance & clean-up
- Support company-wide ERP replacement project with focus on financial tools & systems
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses & assignments
- Supporting with financial audits and ensuring compliance
Your profile
- Bachelor in Business Administration, Finance, equivalent or higher
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in a similar financial function
- Knowledge of production processes is an advantage
- Fluent in English
- Excel skills
- System knowledge of SAP & similar analysis tools is an advantage
- Analytical abilities
- Interest in learning new things
