EASA Part-147 Training Manager

You will lead the daily operations of the Training Department, manage the instructor team and
subject matter experts, and drive the continuous improvement of our training programs and
processes.
In addition to your managerial duties, you will also serve as an EASA Part-147 approved B1/B2 Instructor, Examiner, Practical Trainer, and Assessor.
Your expertise will also support the development of new training content particularly in engine
maintenance, and you will act as a Subject Matter Expert in training projects, contributing to the professional growth of both SR Technics personnel and our customers’ teams.
Your tasks
As a Training Manager:
• Act as a role model for a Generative Safety Culture, ensuring safety is embedded in who we are and in everything we do.
• Foster a positive Quality Culture, actively promoting and upholding the Quality Policy across the organization.
• Implement, maintain, and continuously improve all aspects of the Safety Management
System in line with established safety guidelines and our MTOE.
• Lead and manage the daily operations of the training organization in alignment with strategy, business plan, and budget.
• Lead, coach, and support the instructor, subject matter expert, and administration teams.
• Drive business and continuous improvement projects, including consulting-related initiatives.
• Communicate openly and transparently with aviation authorities and customer quality
departments.
• Lead the digitalization and automation of administrative processes to enhance efficiency.
• Ensure operational accuracy by maintaining up-to-date data and KPIs in our ERP MINT.
• Develop and expand the qualification portfolio of instructors and all approval-related training products.
• Support sales and customer engagement by ensuring product compliance, readiness, and availability.
• Provide expert advice to internal and external customers on training and education matters.
• Design, update, and maintain training concepts and methodologies that meet the evolving needs of both internal and external customers.
As an Instructor, Examiner, Practical Trainer, and Assessor:
• Serve as a competent Instructor for Initial Safety Training in accordance with Regulation (EU)
2021/1963.
• Deliver high-quality, cost-effective training at required locations, using modern and engaging instructional methods tailored to learners’ needs.
• Prepare and manage all training materials, facilities, and resources for both theoretical and practical sessions.
• Integrate new technologies to enhance learning effectiveness and student retention.
• Set clear learning objectives, track individual progress, and maintain a motivating and
supportive training environment.
• Ensure each course is concluded with complete and accurate data for compliant
administrative documentation.
• Maintain and update training materials and documentation in full compliance with aviation authority regulations and internal standards.
• Contribute as a Subject Matter Expert to training product development and business-related projects, ensuring precision and relevance of technical content.
• Commit to continuous professional growth, expanding personal qualifications and
competencies in line with industry developments.
Your Profile
• Certified Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AML B1, B2, or equivalent).
• Preferably holding a bachelor’s degree in engineering and/or Education.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in aviation maintenance training.
• Willingness and flexibility to deliver training worldwide, with regular travel.
• Self-motivated and independent, with strong organizational and operational skills.
• Proven experience in technical instruction and certified as a technical trainer.
• Skilled in instructional design and learning methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to adapt to diverse audiences and cultural contexts.
• Open-minded, proactive, and adaptable to change and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Proficient in German and English (minimum Level C1).
