As a GTF Quality Inspector you will:

Your tasks

  • Perform technical inspections and measurements of engine assemblies, modules and parts (PW1100G-JM) on schedule, ensuring required quality.
  • Create and process repair orders for assemblies and individual parts, including requested engine modifications.
  • Control and document executed modifications and configurations on parts and assemblies, following all regulations.
  • Execute assigned work on time with independent self-checks and proper documentation of all activities.
  • Apply Lean Six Sigma methods (Lean events, 5S, root cause analysis) and perform internal audits, including 5S, and follow up on actions.
  • Continuously improve processes with a focus on quality, safety and on-time delivery.
  • Handle tools, equipment and resources in an environmentally conscious and responsible way.

Your Profile

  • Completed vocational training, preferably specialized in metal (polymechanics, plant and equipment engineers, machine mechanics, or equivalent)
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience within the Aviation MRO industry
  • Preferably authorized to certify engines under EASA part 145/ part 66
  • Willingness to work in two shifts and flexibility to work on weekends
  • Ability to carry out assigned tasks independently, precisely and in a responsible manner
  • Open-minded and dedicated team player with good communication skills
  • High safety, quality and cost awareness
  • Knowledgeable in MS office and SAP experience
  • Knowledge of English language (level B1); knowledge of German is a plus
