As a General Ledger Accountant Specialist you will be performing a variety of general accounting support tasks in an accounting department for entities in Switzerland, Serbia and abroad - jointly responsible for the month / quarterly / year-end closing. 

Your tasks

  • Update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers and other records into SAP 
  • Execute month-end closing processes  
  • Conduct Balance sheets reconciliation, perform Intercompany reconciliation  
  • Practical experience with VAT regulations, including preparation, submission, and 
    reconciliation in compliance with local legislation  
  • Check and register Travel expenses for various companies within the Group  
  • Reconcile daily bank transactions, ensuring that all entries are accurately reflected 
    in the general ledger and aligned with cash flow statements.
  • Analyze existing key accounts and understand related processes, compile data and 
    prepare a variety of reports 

Your Profile

  • Batchelor’s degree is a minimum preferable in Finance and Accounting  
  • 3 years of work experience in accounting  and background in financial reporting, reconciliation, and general ledger activities  
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Additional requirements: Operative/specialized in subject, strong analytical skills  
  • Technical and Computer skills: Good overall IT literacy, experience with SAP, proficiency in MS Office, with strong skills in Excel (formulas, functions, pivot tables)  
  • Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, quick learner with 
    adaptability to new tools and processes, high level of self-knowledge, self-control, 
    and self-discipline, specialized and proactive in accounting-related tasks
