Head of Parts Movement
Your tasks
- Guarantee for all employees a workplace that meets Safety, Health and Environmental rules, regulations and requirements
- Guarantee quality of workmanship in accordance with all applicable SRT and Airworthiness Authorities rules and regulations
- Execute and promote Continuous Improvements applying Lean principles
- Ensure ZRH warehouses are operated in line with all quality and regulatory requirements
- Manage the Logistics performance to achieve operational and financial excellence
- Define processes and procedures with stakeholders to ensure safe and efficient transportation throughout the Engine Services logistics network in a timely and compliant manner
- Plan and execute Kitting (marshalling) and Ready to Service in coordination with other departments and according to agreed turnaround time targets and quality levels
- Manage and lead change and improvement projects of processes and practices in logistics
- Support selection of external logistics service providers and cooperate in strategic partnerships
- Fulfil on contractual agreed service levels with SR Technic’s customers
- Manage & report on budget-/spend levels
- Drive overall efficiency through rigorous Metrics and KPIs for all activities
- Implement and maintain a performance culture
- To assemble, develop and review resources required to perform on the above accountabilities within organizational boundaries
Your profile
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Logistics or Supply Chain Management
- Minimum of 7 years of proven experience in Logistics and Supply Chain Management
- Minimum of 7 years of proven leadership experience
- Minimum of 5 year of proven Production Environment experience
- Knowledge of aviation regulations (EASA Part 145, MOE, NASP Cargo Manuel) required
- Experience in lean management and continuous improvement management
- Experience in project management will be considered as a plus
- Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills required
- Language skills: German Level C1, English C1
