Your tasks
- Manage the direct reports and QTL-matrix organization in alignment with the responsible line managers, ensure mandatory and necessary trainings
- Ensure optimum occupation time of the QTL FTE’s, e.g. in case of no QT work, allocate pro-actively resources to other departments (ESO, ESC, ESE, etc.)
- Take make or buy decision for the service requests, contract and coordinate accordingly with the service network partners.
- Ensure timely response to customer’s enquiries, develop and maintain the commercial concept in alignment with Business Development requirements and process, take active role in offering process
- Take on direct communication to customers during quick turn events
- Manage operational KPI such as Induction and Completion count, OTD, WIP, Revenue, EBT
- Evaluate and initiate further necessary investments
- Ensure further QTL ramp up during expansion phase
- Further develop and maintain the QTL product portfolio and partner network
- Apply CI standards and assure implementation of such
- Assure safety and quality requirements of workmanship in accordance with all applicable SRT and authorities’ rules and regulations at all times
- Drive performance culture through periodic target setting and regular structured follow-up
- Apply the performance Management Process (PMP) and drive leadership
Your Profile
- Education: Bachelor or Master of engineering or equivalent
- Proven operational and commercial experience > 5 years
- Working experience in aviation engine MRO >5 years is of advantage
- Proven practice in building and maintaining customer relation with strong experience in intercultural competence
- Minimum of 2 years of working experience in appropriate leadership position, in industrial environment
- Know-how in CI and process management will be considered as advantage
- Strong motivating leadership personality and dedicated team leader
- Strong communication skills and supporter of open communication
- Independent, precise, and responsible work approach with strong problem-solving skills
- High safety, quality, and cost awareness
- Solid in MS office and SAP experience
- Language: German (C1) and English (C2)
