As an Indirect Procurement Manager you will join the Indirect Procurement team in our headquarter at Zürich Airport. Your sourcing activities will be focused but not limited to Capital Expenditure (e.g. tooling, equipment), administrative services or Investment projects in our production environment. You actively contribute to locating, evaluating, contracting and maintaining the best sources of supply for services required by internal business partners while considering all aspects such as quality, value, performance, cost and the ability to respond quickly to changing supply requirements. You will lead the supplier selection and development process. In doing so, you will deliver ongoing and sustainable improvements on procurement cost in support of SR Technics’ growth objectives. This position includes an opportunity to develop into other Indirect Procurement categories.

Your tasks

  • Responsible for the call to tender process and the supplier management on assigned procurement projects
  • Develop and execute procurement strategy to continuously reduce total cost of ownership and improve quality, standards and delivery performance of the services and products purchased
  • Coordination of changes and updates between suppliers and all relevant internal project stakeholders
  • Negotiate strategic sourcing agreements and any changes in supplier and vendor contracts in accordance with compliances, policies, rules and regulations
  • Apply negotiation skills to resolve contractual supplier and vendor disputes with an acceptable outcome for the parties by compliance, policies, rules and regulations
  • Work collaboratively with the Procurement team in the development and formation of sustainable working principles in sourcing

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain or a comparable qualification required
  • +3 years of experience in Procurement and/or project management in a technical environment
  • Procurement education and contracting experience desired
  • Excellent project management skills, result and deadline orientated
  • Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills required
  • Language skills: German fluent, English C1
