As a Inventory Data Analyst you will build and operationalize advanced analytics solutions - forecasting, optimization, simulations, and deliver robust data pipelines and dashboards that reduce stockouts, lower working capital, and improve service levels across the whole inventory portfolio. You will turn fragmented, imperfect ERP and supplier data into predictive insights and prescriptive decision tools for operational buyers and material planners, while owning KPI reporting, and ad hoc analyses that accelerate category strategies and day to day procurement decisions.

Your tasks

  • Data Quality
    • Clean, reconcile, and validate data across ERP (e.g., SAP, SAS, MES, …), internal databases, and supplier portals
    • Monitor master data quality - descriptions, criticality, lead times, alternates/supersessions - report discrepancies and adjustment need to Material Master Data
  • Inventory Optimization & Prescriptive Analytics
    • Inventory classification: implement and maintain regular ABC/XYZ analysis on whole inventory
    • Analyse results using statistical techniques to find root causes for problems identified
  • Reporting, Dashboards & Operational Insights
    • Design and maintain dashboards for inventory KPIs (Power BI or equivalent): stockouts, turns, service level, aging/slow‑moving, excess/obsolete, lead‑time adherence, emergency orders, etc.
  • Change Management & Training
    • Translate model outputs into clear actions for buyers/planners

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related. Master’s in Data Science preferred
  • Experience: 5+ years in analytics/data science within supply chain/procurement/industrial operations
  • Strong proficiency in statistical analysis, predictive modelling, data mining and visualization knowledge; optimization, inventory fundamentals (ABC/XYZ classification, safety stock concepts, lead‑time variability)
  • Advanced Excel, SQL, SAP, ideally Power BI skills; ability to integrate models with planning tools
  • Track record in handling large datasets and delivering actionable insights
  • English B2 level as a minimum – proficiency expected
