As a Logistics Specialist you will be responsible to manage all local logistics aspects at Bad Zurzach. This includes setup and continuous improvement of the warehouse including stock level management, inventory checks, shelf-life management, picking of material and all other tasks required by SR Technics policies. In addition, all receiving’s, packing / dispatching of goods, material and tooling, according to the provided requirements shall be conducted. You will be responsible to arrange, monitor and manage all shipments between the two main bases, Airport Zurich and bad Zurzach.

Your tasks

  • To guarantee quality and safety of workmanship in accordance with all applicable SR Technics and Airworthiness Authorities rules and regulations at all times
  • To execute and promote Continuous Improvements applying Lean principles as the process to achieve all targets
  • Support setup and continuous improvement of local supply chain according to the ramp up plan
  • Pick and delivery material according to provide dates and ensure safe and secure transfers, local and inter-base
  • Ensure all goods handled in a timely way and processed (receipt, pick, pack, ship, system update, etc.) according to provided data and SR Technics policies
  • Support internal logistic to reach the goal and hold committed RTS date
  • Ensure all required transfers are executed as required, managed and monitored

Your Profile

  • Apprenticeship as technician or equivalent required 
  • Experience in SAP (MM/SD module) desired 
  • MS Office experience (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) 
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in general Supply Chain Management
  • Aviation regulation knowledge (EASA Part 145, etc.) required 
  • A self-disciplined, consequent personality is required 
  • Communicative team player with positive attitude, solution, and customer-oriented mindset 
  • Demonstrates a high level of personal accountability and attention to details
  • Experience in an international work environment across cultures/locations 
  • English B2 level and German C1 level required
