Manager Quick Turn Services (QTS)
The position holder, if joining our dynamic team as the leader of the QTS, will be overseeing a group of subject matter experts dedicated to deliver best-in-class MRO services. You will drive excellence in quality and turnaround times and perform high level engine repairs, in house or abroad at our client’s facilities (Field Assistance Service). We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional leader committed to elevate the QTS to world class-standard.
In this position you will report to the Vice President Engine Operations.
Your tasks
- Lead your own team of subject matter experts as well as the QTS-matrix organization, in alignment with the responsible line managers
- Assure safety and quality requirements of workmanship in accordance with all applicable SRT and authorities’ rules and regulations at all times
- Drive performance culture through periodic target setting and regular structured follow-up
- Ensure mandatory and necessary trainings and drive people development
- Monitor the team performance against business plan and budget through KPI’s
- Take, make or buy decision for the service requests, contract and coordinate accordingly with the service network partners
- Ensure timely response to customer’s enquiries, develop and maintain the commercial concept in alignment with Business Development requirements and process
- Manage/overlook RFIs and RFQs during offering process
- Manage and control high level customer communication
- Manage operational KPIs, such as but not limited to Delivery, Turnaround Times, Quality and Financial
- Evaluate and initiate capital investment requests associated with new service offerings
- Ensure further QTS ramp up during expansion phase
- Further develop and maintain the QTS product portfolio and partner network
- Closely collaborate with Product Development, Business Development, Operations, other Engineering functions and other internal stakeholders
- Apply CI standards and assure implementation of such
- Apply the Performance Management Process (PMP) and drive leadership
Your profile
- Education: Bachelor or Master of engineering or equivalent experience
- Proven operational and commercial experience > 5 years
- Proven leadership experience in Maintenance Repair Overhaul (MRO) service development
- In-depth knowledge of industry best practices and standards
- High safety, quality and cost awareness
- Strong motivating leadership personality and dedicated team leader
- Proven practice in building and maintaining customer relation with strong experience in intercultural competence
- Ability for strategic thinking, project execution and industrialization of new processes / technologies
- Ability to energize teams / drive a culture of excellence and Continuous Improvement (CI)
- Result-orientated with a focus on achieving and surpassing targets
- Strong oral / written communication and presentation skills
- Solid in MS office and SAP experience
- Language: German (C1) and English (C2) or vice versa
