Your tasks
- Managing of the accredited calibration area in SR Technics based on EN ISO/IEC 17025
- Preparation of an annual management evaluation based upon the required EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard, which is also to be made available to senior management
- Securing that the laboratory in Switzerland and in UK are carrying out its testing and calibration activities in such a way as to meet the requirements of the applicable international standards as well as to satisfy the needs of its clients, the regulatory authorities or organizations providing recognition. (In accordance with the MOE, CALIBRATION OF TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT and the respective procedures manual Maintenance of test and calibration items, guidelines)
- Ensure the availability of the necessary standards, tools and programs
- Recruiting, coaching, training and development of the personnel
- Provision of ergonomic workplaces and to secure work safety and environmental issues
- Investment and cost centre budget planning as well as budget controlling
- Create a competitive, yet profitable price list for customers
- Provide reporting of performance and profitability of internal and external orders
- Contact person for the centralized temperature and humidity measurement solution in SR Technics units
Your Profile
- Apprenticeship as a craftsman (electronics or mechanics)
- General foreman, manufacturing production
- Managing of a workshop or laboratory
- Experience in calibration business, in depth understanding of the legal regulation for calibration (at least 3 years)
- Leadership experience (1-3 years)
- Technical understanding (1 or more years)
- Logical and analytical, flexible, keeps the overview of complexes area, good in MS Office application, organized, communication skills to build relationships to customers and suppliers
- German C1
- English B2
