As a Operational Procurement Specialist you will:
 
Be responsible for the operational procurement of a dedicated range of materials and services. You will be responsible for orders of materials and services with suppliers and vendors according to operational requirements and contractual commitments and deliverables, at best price, performance and quality.

Your tasks

  • Ensure economic and efficient sourcing of material & services as per contractual-, technical-, customer-, and engineering specifications in compliance with authorities requirements
  • Issue, track, trace and control all purchase orders in SAP with support of B2B tool where applicable
  • Drive correct allocations of invoices to Purchase Orders
  • Proactive reporting of defined operational metrics to the Supervisor and initiate corresponding corrective/preventive actions
  • To keep cost control of designated purchasing group and report cost development and deviation to cost targets
  • To monitor procured services to achieve service targets (lead times)
  • To ensure optimized price/delivery conditions
  • To maintain and establish sustainable relationships with supplier, vendor and all internal interfaces
  • To comply with quality requirements/regulations, incl. Q-notifications and INC/Occurrences
  • To monitor and maintain material, services and supplier/vendor data in SAP where required by process and ownership
  • To continuously improve and further develop tools and processes for efficiency and automation

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering, business administration or economics preferred
  • Work experience: 2+ years
  • Professional experience in technical environment /Aviation/MRO desired
  •  Advance knowledge of MS Office
  • SAP knowledge (Procurement module)
  • Strong communication, presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Language skills: English: C1 (required), German: B1 (desired)
