Your tasks
- Develop and execute procurement and strategic sourcing strategies to continuously reduce total cost of ownership and improve quality, standards and delivery performance of services and products purchased, while maintaining awareness of changing business trends in the marketplace and their impact on SR Technics Switzerland
- Analyze spend data and trends to identify, develop, recommend and justify strategic sourcing initiatives that meet the needs of SR Technics Switzerland, using data mining tools, marketplace analysis, end-user impact, feedback and activity, and preparing supporting reports, spreadsheets and comparisons
- Recommend the most appropriate and efficient methods for the formation of strategic sourcing initiatives and agreements, including deciding whether recurring purchases are suitable for strategic sourcing initiatives based on spend analysis, end-user activity and marketplace conditions
- Negotiate strategic sourcing agreements and manage changes to supplier and vendor contracts in accordance with compliance requirements, policies, rules and regulations, ensuring that proposed contract changes and modifications are reasonable, compliant and in the best interest of SR Technics Switzerland
- Apply negotiation and mediation skills to resolve contractual supplier and vendor disputes and determine appropriate resolutions to issues arising during strategic sourcing contracting processes, ensuring acceptable outcomes in line with compliance, policies, rules and regulations
- Analyze bid responses to determine the most responsive and responsible bidders in order to optimize total cost for SR Technics Switzerland, and defend and justify the award of formal bids or proposals in the event of a formal vendor or contractor protest
- Collaborate with operational and other Procurement teams in the development and formation of strategic sourcing agreements, assist in developing internal policies and tools to support and prioritize strategic sourcing initiatives, and monitor and track supplier and vendor performance through financial reviews, product performance, customer satisfaction surveys and customer outreach
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering, business administration or economics required, with Supply Chain or Purchasing education preferred
- Professional experience in a technical environment, preferably within the aviation sector, combined with professional expertise in Purchasing and Supply Chain management
- Demonstrated sourcing and contracting experience, supported by excellent project management skills with a strong focus on results and meeting deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective relationship management and teamwork, complemented by strong communication, analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Extended working knowledge of databases and data handling tools
- Language knowledge: German level B2 and English level C1
