Your tasks
- Lead and coach a team of technicians in daily engine shop operations
- Ensure compliance with all safety, health, environmental, and quality standards
- Guarantee high-quality workmanship in line with OEM, regulatory, and internal procedures
- Plan and allocate resources effectively, including shifts and vacation planning
- Oversee onboarding, qualification, and development of team members
- Monitor team performance and promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
- Drive the implementation of Lean principles and 5S on the shop floor
- Ensure efficient coordination of disassembly, assembly, inspection, and handover processes in collaboration with Planning, Engineering, and Quality
- Manage shop floor documentation and ensure compliance and audit readiness.
Your Profile
- Completed technical education (e.g. 4-year apprenticeship or equivalent)
- Proven leadership experience in a technical or production environment
- Engine MRO or aviation experience preferred
- Hands-on leadership style with a structured focus on quality and process
- Good written and spoken English skills, German is a plus
- Willingness to work in a 2-shift model
- Clear communicator with strong team leadership skills
- Confident using MS Office; SAP knowledge is a plus.
