Supervisor – Engine Shop

Your tasks

  • Lead and coach a team of technicians in daily engine shop operations
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, health, environmental, and quality standards
  • Guarantee high-quality workmanship in line with OEM, regulatory, and internal procedures
  • Plan and allocate resources effectively, including shifts and vacation planning
  • Oversee onboarding, qualification, and development of team members
  • Monitor team performance and promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
  • Drive the implementation of Lean principles and 5S on the shop floor
  • Ensure efficient coordination of disassembly, assembly, inspection, and handover processes in collaboration with Planning, Engineering, and Quality
  • Manage shop floor documentation and ensure compliance and audit readiness. 

Your Profile

  • Completed technical education (e.g. 4-year apprenticeship or equivalent)
  • Proven leadership experience in a technical or production environment
  • Engine MRO or aviation experience preferred
  • Hands-on leadership style with a structured focus on quality and process
  • Good written and spoken English skills, German is a plus
  • Willingness to work in a 2-shift model
  • Clear communicator with strong team leadership skills
  • Confident using MS Office; SAP knowledge is a plus.
