As a Team Leader Indirect Procurement you will:
 
Be leading administrative the team of Operational Procurement Specialists and other support functions such as Facility Management Specialists, Procurement & Warranty Specialists and Procurement Analysts. This position mainly includes operational procurement of a dedicated range of materials, services and logistics. Your goal will be to rise and manage orders for materials, services and logistics with suppliers and vendors according to operational requirements and contractual commitments and deliverables, at best price, performance and quality. Functionally you will report to the respective Strategic Procurement responsible person but administrative you report to Head of Procurement & Facility Management.

Your tasks

  • Manage and lead the team administratively
  • Proactive reporting of defined operational metrics to Management and initiate corresponding corrective/preventive actions for your dedicated responsibility
  • Keep cost control of designated purchasing group and report cost development and deviation to cost targets
  • Develop and empower the team members to achieve the set objectives
  • Monitor procured services to achieve service targets (lead times)
  • Esure optimized price/delivery conditions
  • Maintain and establish sustainable relationships with supplier, vendor and all internal interfaces
  • Comply with quality requirements/regulations, incl. Q-notifications and INC/Occurrences
  • Monitor and maintain material, services and supplier/vendor data in SAP where required by process and ownership
  • Support and lead procurement projects
  • Manage warranty and other claims (e.g. freight)
  • Continuously improve and further develop people, tools and processes for efficiency and automation

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering, business administration or economics preferred
  • Work experience 3+ years in people management
  • Professional experience/education in Purchasing / Supply Chain 
  • Strong communication, presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent negotiations, project management skills
  • Advance knowledge of MS Office
  • SAP knowledge (Procurement module)
  • Language skills: English C1, German B1
