As a VP Accounting & Reporting you will be accountable for the internal and external financial accounting and reporting of the Group, while ensuring the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the end-to-end finance process. As part of the senior management team, you will co-define and implement the finance strategy, and support the financial data and business intelligence strategy. You will be responsible for implementing digital transformation initiatives within the finance organization, as well as for enabling fully compliant, transparent, and insightful financial reporting and performance management, both at group and subsidiary level.

Your tasks

  • Safety: Promote a positive safety culture with focus on internal controls over financial reporting and cyber security
  • Quality: Ensure compliance with applicable Accounting and Reporting rules and regulations. Demonstrate leadership with respect to the relevant quality management system, implement and adhere to external quality and audit standards. Ensure process quality within area of responsibility
  • Delivery: Develop and implement financial performance management requirements to ensure best-in-class financial and insight reporting through digital enablers, supporting fast and fact-based decision making and the achievement of financial performance targets. Timely period-end closing and delivery of financial reports
  • Cost / Finance: Responsibility for the integration, standardization, efficiency of end-to-end finance processes, including planning, accounting, financial control, consolidation, internal and external reporting and analysis of group and subsidiary data
  • People: Promote a culture of collaboration and integration broadly engaging the global finance organization in the operational activities and driving organizational change management initiatives

Your Profile

  • Master’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years relevant experience in a Finance leadership function in a corporate environment
  • In-depth expertise on IFRS Standards and relevant local GAAP
  • Knowledge of ESG standards and regulations
  • In-depth understanding of SAP and financial performance management tools
  • Strong project management skills
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Strategic mind-set and ability to translate strategies into concrete actions
  • Fluent in English, German is a plus
  • Experience in the aviation, aerospace (MRO) business or related fields is a plus
