As a Quality Inspector - Kitting Specialist you will carry out a visual inspection of parts, modules, and airfoils for transportation damage. You will check documentation for correctness and verify that the required quantities of parts, modules, and airfoils are available. You will create SAP labels for unserviceable parts, modules, and airfoils, and prepare parts lists for customer documentation where required. You will ensure that all applicable standards are met and that the technical Onlog in SAP is accurate and up to date.

Your tasks

  • Perform visual inspections of CFM56 and PW4000 airfoils, parts, and modules for transportation damage and quantity verification
  • Create and maintain SAP documentation, including shop orders, Onlog structures, labels for unserviceable material, and data updates
  • Prepare installation sheets, parts lists, and customer documentation to support assembly and maintenance activities
  • Verify LLP (Life Limited Part) documentation and ensure correct part installation and traceability
  • Coordinate material exchanges, returns, storage, and logistics activities with the Material Coordinator team
  • Operate Bladis-4 software for airfoil weighing and balancing and sign off technical and administrative tasks in compliance with procedures
  • Ensure timely, high-quality task completion while driving continuous improvement through Lean, Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, and 5S methodologies

Your Profile

  • Apprenticeship as a technician or equivalent qualification required
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a quality-driven industry, preferably within MRO operations
  • Strong quality and safety mindset, with the ability to work accurately, independently, and responsibly
  • Good communication skills, teamwork orientation, and high self-discipline
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office; an existing Release to Service license is an advantage, with willingness to obtain it preferred
  • Willingness to work in a 2-shift system; German (B2) and English (B2) language skills required
