We are looking for dedicated and skilled individuals to join our shop floor across several areas in our department Piece Part Repair at Zurich Airport. If this sounds appealing to you, we encourage you to apply for our Composites Specialist position.
As a Composites Specialist you will:
- Perform repairs on various engine composite parts, excluding cowlings
- Carry out bonding processes using silicone, epoxy, RTV and other elastomers
- Perform abradable liner, Teflon, rubber seal and gasket bonding
- Apply sealants and prepare bonding surfaces, including sanding with power tools
- Operate Hot Bonder and perform vacuum bagging processes
- Perform all work in strict accordance with applicable manuals and specifications
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety and 5S requirements
Your Profile
- Completed technical apprenticeship, ideally as a Polymer Technologist or in a related field with a focus on bonding
- Proven experience in composite repair, preferably within an aviation or MRO environment
- High level of accuracy and a structured, independent working approach
- Open-minded and reliable team player
- Good command of English; German is an advantage
- Willingness to work on a 2-shift schedule
